What Happens When You Own Your Sh*t

PrintI don’t curse that often, but when I do, it’s to make a point really hit home.

I feel very inspired to talk about what happens when you own your sh*t.

Why? Because I’m all about helping you connect with who you really are so you can thrive in your life and biz. And owning your sh*t is a big part making this happen.

To begin, there are two parts to owning your sh*t:

1. Owning your deep, dark issues and
2. Owning your mutha f***n power

Let’s start with the tough stuff. We all have issues that hold us back. We know it’s there hiding deep inside us, but we’d rather avoid facing it because it’s just too painful to face. Fears, shame, sadness, anger, resentment. These are all really tough to go through.

You can totally numb yourself out so you avoid feeling the pain.

Yes, feeling the pain is rough, but it’s the only way to truly heal your way to the other side.

Personally, I’ve been feeling my way through some old, painful limiting beliefs that have been holding me back. In the past, I would just deal with these issues on a surface level or just totally work around them.

Has it been easy? Hell No! This upper limit issue manifested itself as an upper respiratory infection with a non-stop cough. I realized that this showed up in body in this way because I’ve been afraid to take in my life fully.

But now, I want to heal all these blocks so I can fully experience who I am born to Be. So I can continue to do what I am meant to do here on this earth.

Which brings me to the other side of owning your sh*t – when you know who you are and can unapologetically own it.

When you are so in tune with who you are and what you are meant to do with your life, you feel effin unstoppable. You move past your fears and take purposeful action because you are operating from a place greater than yourself. You give yourself permission to Be everything that you are because you know this is a generous act of service to the world.

This is what I want for you. And for me.

To be brave enough to face our fears. To be gentle and patient with ourselves so we can truly heal.To feel our way through the pain so we can see what we are truly made of on the other side.

Because when you own everything that you are, you help others to do the same for themselves.

So, you ready to own your sh*t?

Would love to know. How have you been brave and owned your old limiting beliefs in order to experience more of your own power?

When we own our own sh*t, we don’t have to take anyone else’s. We experience guilt and shame “through” people. That’s the equivalence of someone unloading their sh*t – they haven’t come to terms with their own issues. Nope, I got my own….but THANK YOU! Jennifer I love this post! Keep ’em comin’!

I’m happy you resonated with my post, Gabrielle! It does take time to work through our issues. I’ve learned that it’s important to be patient and gentle with yourself as you heal. Then, on the other side of all that work, you will be effin unstoppable!
